I got my first repayment!

The first loan I joined in on was one for a store owner in Paraguay called Amado Ocampos. Today, I got notice of him repaying the first of 11 installments. I only have $25 invested in this business, but I’m excited to see this first repayment e-mail.
The business you have loaned to, run by Amado Ocampos, has made a repayment of $98.00. The total amount repaid is now $98.00. This repayment will be divided amongst all the lenders who helped to fund this business, depending upon the percentage each lender contributed.
Pretty awesome, right?! Well, I wish Amado Ocampos all the luck in the world, and I’m sure the Kiva-money will help him expand his business. I’ll be keeping all of you posted of how this evolves!
